Fuelling Abilities offers dietetic services from Accredited Practicing Dietitians (APD) to meet the needs of the local NDIS participants in Kalgoorlie-Boulder and surrounds.
We pride ourselves on our person-centered approach, understanding that building relationships with our clients and their supports enhances their abilities to engage in health services.
Our dietitians are committed to providing quality and compassionate care to our patients, working alongside you to personalise the approach taken to achieve your functional goals.

We offer a mobile service allowing us to come to you!
Fuelling Abilities currently services Kalgoorlie-Boulder and surrounds including Kambalda and Coolgardie.
Other locations can be considered however travel fee may apply.
Telehealth
Our dietitians can connect with you via telephone or videocall.
Located outside the Kalgoorlie-Boulder and surrounding area? No problem, book a telehealth appointment with us.
Fee Structure
NDIS Services
We are currently seeing self-managed and plan-managed participants. We work in accordance with NDIS pricing arrangements.

Very Remote: $290
Travel
If you require a home or community visit, travel charges may apply. Travel charges will be discussed with you at the time of your booking.
Cancellation Policy
We require a minimum 48 hours notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
If you cancel your appointment within 48 hours of the scheduled appointment time or fail to attend your appointment without providing any notice, you will be charged for the full agreed costs (including any agreed travel time).

We offer home-based nutrition therapy for adults living with disabilities.
Our services can assist with the following areas:

Optimising nutrition for neurological conditions (e.g., brain injury, spinal cord injury, motor neurone disease)

Swallowing difficulties & texture-modified diets

Supporting life with an amputation

We work alongside you to personalise the approach taken to achieve your functional goals. This can include:

a comprehensive nutrition assessment

a personalised nutrition plan for oral (eating and drinking) or enteral (tube) feeding that suits your lifestyle

strategies and support to help you integrate nutrition into your health goals (including nutrition counselling, healthy eating education, cooking and creating recipes, food budgeting and supermarket tours)

evidence based advice to help you manage a health condition

multidisciplinary approach (working with the rest of your health care team including speech pathologists, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, general practitioners, medical specialists and more)

Erin Vlatko
Founder and Accredited Practising Dietitian (APD)
Erin is passionate about regional healthcare and has been working in Kalgoorlie as a dietitian for the past 6 years. With experience in regional and metropolitan sites, across a variety of clinical dietetic caseloads, she focuses on helping patients build positive relationships with food to assist in reaching their functional goals. She works closely with individuals locally, providing tailored support to ensure their health and nutrition needs are met.
